Hydraulic spool valves are identified by the type of centre (if 3 positions), the type of control, the number of ports, the total number of positions and the type of return or hold. -
DM 80 spool valves with spindle are particularly suitable for log splitters, as the notch on the return position and the spindle return to neutral at the end of the stroke make them ideal for this application. This type of spool valve is also available in double speed, i.e. a fast speed for approaching the wedge and a slow speed for pressure work.
