        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that ensures the circulation of a liquid within a circuit. They all operate on a simple physical principle: the creation of a partial vacuum when the pump is primed by activating its moving part. The liquid to be displaced is drawn towards the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. The liquid is then pressurised by this same moving part and released into the entire circuit.

        Extremely reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in industrial mechanics and the automotive sector. They can be coupled to a motor by means of a drive shaft and gearbox, or driven by a small electric motor. They provide constant pressure to circuits of up to 250 bar.
