        In a circuit, hydraulic directional valves, also known as pre-actuators, monitor the direction of the liquid in the installation. In essence, a spool valve has at least 2 positions. Depending on the position, chosen manually, electrically, mechanically or hydraulically, the directional valve directs the force of the hydraulic fluid towards the desired action. This orientation is triggered by operating a spool whose movement to the right or left allows the ports to communicate.
