        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that moves a fluid within a circuit. They all operate according to a basic physical law: the creation of a partial vacuum when they are primed, thanks to the activation of their moving part. The fluid to be moved is drawn towards the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. The fluid is then pressurised by this same moving element and released into the entire circuit.

        Hydraulic gear pumps are particularly reliable, and are widely used in industrial mechanical engineering and the automotive sector. They can be coupled to a motor by means of a transmission shaft and gearbox, or driven by a small electric motor. They provide constant pressure to circuits of up to two hundred and fifty bars
