        Regardless of its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that moves a liquid within a circuit. They all operate on a simple physical principle, creating a partial vacuum when they are primed by setting their moving part in motion. The fluid to be moved is drawn towards the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. The fluid is then pressurised by this same moving element and released into the entire circuit.

        Extremely reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in industrial and automotive engineering. They can be coupled to a motor by means of a transmission shaft and gearbox, or set in motion by a small electric motor. They provide constant pressure to circuits of up to 250 bar.
