        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical component that ensures the circulation of a liquid within a circuit. They all operate on a simple physical principle, creating a partial vacuum on start-up by activating their moving part. The fluid to be moved is drawn into the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. The fluid is then pressurised by this moving part and pumped throughout the circuit.

        Extremely reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in the mechanical and automotive industries. They can be connected to a motor by means of a drive shaft and gearbox, or set in motion by a small electric motor. They permanently pressurise circuits that can reach up to two hundred and fifty bars.
