        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that ensures the circulation of a liquid within a circuit. They all operate according to a basic physical law: the creation of a partial vacuum when the pump is primed, thanks to the movement of its moving part. The fluid to be displaced is drawn towards the pump inlet by a vacuum. The fluid is then pressurised by this same moving element and released into the entire circuit.

        Particularly reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in the mechanical and automotive industries. They can be connected to a motor via a drive shaft and gearbox, or driven by a small electric motor. They provide permanent pressure for circuits of up to two hundred and fifty bars.
