        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that ensures the circulation of a fluid within a circuit. They all operate on a simple physical principle: the creation of a partial vacuum on start-up by activating their moving part. The fluid to be moved is drawn into the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. This is then pressurised by the same moving element and released into the entire circuit.

        Extremely reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are used extensively in industrial and automotive engineering. They can be connected to a motor via a drive shaft and gearbox, or set in motion by a small electric motor. They provide constant pressure to circuits of up to 250 bar.
