        Regardless of its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that moves a liquid within a circuit. They all operate on a simple physical principle, creating a partial vacuum when they are primed by activating their moving part. The liquid to be displaced is drawn into the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. This is then pressurised by the same moving part and pumped throughout the circuit.

        Extremely reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in industrial mechanics and the automotive industry. They can be connected to a motor by means of a transmission shaft and gearbox, or driven by a small electric motor. They provide permanent pressure for circuits of up to two hundred and fifty bars.
