        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that ensures the circulation of a liquid within a circuit. They all operate on a simple physical principle: the creation of a partial vacuum when the pump is primed, thanks to the activation of its moving part. The fluid to be moved is drawn towards the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. The fluid is then pressurised by this same moving element and released into the entire circuit.

        Particularly reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in industrial mechanics and the automotive sector. They can be coupled to a motor by means of a drive shaft and gearbox, or set in motion by a small electric motor. They can be used to constantly pressurise circuits at pressures of up to two hundred and fifty bars.
