        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical component that ensures the circulation of a liquid within a circuit. They all operate according to a basic physical law: the creation of a partial vacuum when the pump is primed, thanks to the activation of its moving part. The fluid to be moved is drawn towards the pump inlet by a vacuum. The fluid is then pressurised by this same moving part and released into the entire circuit.

        Hydraulic gear pumps are particularly reliable, and are widely used in industrial mechanics and the automotive industry. They can be coupled to a motor by means of a drive shaft and gearbox, or driven by a small electric motor. They can permanently pressurise circuits up to 250 bar.
