        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that moves a liquid within a circuit. They all operate on a simple physical principle, creating a partial vacuum when primed by setting their moving part in motion. The liquid to be displaced is drawn towards the pump inlet by a vacuum. The liquid is then pressurised by this moving part and released into the entire circuit.

        Extremely reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in industrial mechanics and the automotive sector. They can be connected to a motor via a drive shaft and gearbox, or driven by a small electric motor. They provide constant pressure to circuits of up to 250 bar.
