        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that ensures the circulation of a liquid within a circuit. They all operate on a simple physical principle: the creation of a partial vacuum when the pump is primed by setting its moving part in motion. The fluid to be moved is sucked into the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. The fluid is then pressurised by this moving part and pumped throughout the circuit.

        Particularly reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in industrial mechanics and the automotive sector. They can be connected to a motor via a drive shaft and gearbox, or set in motion by a small electric motor. They can permanently pressurise circuits up to 250 bar.
