        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that ensures the circulation of a fluid within a circuit. They all operate on a simple physical principle, creating a partial vacuum when they are primed by activating their moving part. The fluid to be moved is drawn into the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. This is then pressurised by the same moving part and released into the entire circuit.

        Particularly reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in the mechanical and automotive industries. They can be connected to a motor via a drive shaft and gearbox, or set in motion by a small electric motor. They provide constant circuit pressure of up to 250 bar.
