        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that moves a fluid within a circuit. They all operate on a simple physical principle, creating a partial vacuum when primed by setting their moving part in motion. The liquid to be displaced is drawn into the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. This is then pressurised by the same moving element and released into the entire circuit.

        Extremely reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in industrial mechanics and the automotive industry. They can be connected to a motor via a drive shaft and gearbox, or driven by a small electric motor. They provide constant pressure to circuits of up to two hundred and fifty bars.
