        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical component that moves a liquid within a circuit. They all operate on a simple physical principle, creating a partial vacuum on start-up by setting their moving part in motion. The liquid to be moved is drawn into the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. It is then pressurised by this moving part and pumped throughout the circuit.

        Extremely reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in industrial mechanics and the automotive sector. They can be coupled to a motor by means of a drive shaft and gearbox, or driven by a small electric motor. They provide constant pressure to circuits of up to 250 bar.
