        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that moves a liquid within a circuit. They all operate according to a basic physical law: the creation of a partial vacuum on start-up by setting their moving part in motion. The fluid to be moved is sucked into the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. The fluid is then pressurised by this moving part and pumped throughout the circuit.

        Extremely reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in industrial mechanics and the automotive industry. They can be connected to a motor by means of a drive shaft and gearbox, or driven by a small electric motor. They provide permanent pressure to circuits of up to two hundred and fifty bars.
