        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that moves a fluid within a circuit. They all operate according to a basic physical law: the creation of a partial vacuum when the pump is primed, thanks to the activation of its moving element. The liquid to be displaced is drawn towards the pump inlet by a vacuum. The liquid is then pressurised by this moving part and pumped throughout the circuit.

        Extremely reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in the mechanical and automotive industries. They can be coupled to a motor via a drive shaft and gearbox, or driven by a small electric motor. They provide constant pressure to circuits of up to 250 bar.
