        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical component that ensures the circulation of a fluid within a circuit. They all operate on a simple physical principle: the creation of a partial vacuum when the pump is primed, by setting the moving part in motion. The fluid to be moved is drawn into the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. The fluid is then pressurised by this same moving element and released into the entire circuit.

        Particularly reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in the mechanical and automotive industries. They can be connected to a motor by means of a transmission shaft and gearbox, or driven by a small electric motor. They can permanently pressurise circuits up to 250 bar.
