        Whatever its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that moves a fluid within a circuit. They all operate on a simple physical principle, creating a partial vacuum when they are primed by setting their moving part in motion. The fluid to be moved is sucked into the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. The fluid is then pressurised by this moving part and released into the entire circuit.

        Extremely reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in industrial mechanics and the automotive industry. They can be connected to a motor via a drive shaft and gearbox, or set in motion by a small electric motor. They provide constant pressure to circuits of up to two hundred and fifty bars.
