        Regardless of its type, a hydraulic pump is a mechanical element that moves a fluid within a circuit. They all operate according to a basic physical law: the creation of a partial vacuum on start-up by setting their moving part in motion. The fluid to be moved is drawn into the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. The fluid is then pressurised by this moving part and pumped throughout the circuit.

        Extremely reliable, hydraulic gear pumps are widely used in the mechanical and automotive industries. They can be coupled to a motor via a drive shaft and gearbox, or driven by a small electric motor. They can be used to permanently pressurise circuits up to 250 bar.
