        Regardlessof its type, a BTD3260D02 hydraulic pump is a mechanical element which moves a fluid within a circuit. They all operate according to a basic physical law: the creation of a partial vacuum on priming by activating their moving part. The fluid to be displaced is therefore drawn towards the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. The fluid is then pressurised by this moving part and pumped throughout the circuit.

        Hydraulic gear pumps are particularly reliable, and are widely used in industrial and automotive engineering. They can be coupled to a motor by means of a transmission shaft and gearbox, or set in motion by a small electric motor. They provide constant pressure to circuits up to 250 bar.
