        Whatever its type, a BTD3280D02 hydraulic pump is a mechanical component which ensures the circulation of a liquid within a circuit. They all operate on a simple physical principle, creating a partial vacuum when primed by setting their moving element in motion. The liquid to be moved is then drawn into the pump inlet by the vacuum effect. The fluid is then pressurised by the same moving element and released into the entire circuit.

        Hydraulic gear pumps are particularly reliable, and are widely used in industrial and automotive engineering. They can be coupled to a motor via a drive shaft and gearbox, or driven by a small electric motor. They permanently pressurise circuits up to 250 bar.
