        In a hydraulic system, the liquid pressurised by the pump creates hydraulic force which must be converted into mechanical force. This is precisely the role of hydraulic motors. Although there are several types, distinguished by the moving part of the motor, they all work on the same principle. The pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the motor drives the internal moving parts of the motor, which are mechanically coupled to a coupling shaft.

        To select the right hydraulic motor, you need to be aware that the displacement (speed and torque) of this motor will depend on the flow rate and the pressure exerted by the pump.
