A hydraulic system is made up of a set of components, each of which has a specific function and is essential to the correct operation of the system. The "K5" pressure switches close or open an electrical contact when the preset pressure is reached. This pressure is adjusted by turning the graduated knob on the top of the pressure switch, clockwise to increase it and anti-clockwise to decrease it. A system locks the setting at the desired pressure. A mechanical system protects the spring and the microswitch from overpressure.
