        In a hydraulic installation, the liquid pressurised by the pump creates a hydraulic force which must be converted into mechanical force. This is the role of hydraulic motors. Although there are several types, differentiated by the moving part of the motor, they all work on the same principle. The pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the motor drives the moving parts inside the motor, which are mechanically connected to a coupling shaft.

        To choose the right hydraulic motor, bear in mind that the displacement (speed and torque) of the motor will depend on the flow rate and pressure delivered by the pump.
