      1. Field of application
        - Vehicles and vessels with fully hydraulic steering
        Features
        - High level of safety and comfort
        - Immediate reaction of the wheels as soon as the steering wheel is turned
        - Stable steering in all conditions
        - Simple system construction
        - Low noise level
        - Low pressure drop
        - Very low steering wheel torque required
        - Control of high steering forces
        - Steering capacity is maintained even if the steering pump fails (emergency steering)
In a hydraulic system, the fluid pressurised by the pump creates a hydraulic force that must be converted into mechanical force. This is the function of hydraulic motors. Although there are several types, distinguished by the moving part of the motor, they all use the same technique. The pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the motor drives the internal moving parts of the motor, which are mechanically connected to a coupling shaft.

To select the right hydraulic motor, you need to know that the displacement (speed and torque) of the motor will depend on the flow rate and pressure delivered by the pump. Once you've clearly identified your needs, you're sure to find the hydraulic motor you're looking for in our selection of orbital slow motors (for heavy loads) and orbital power steering motors. There are also high-speed gear motors for driving high-speed fans, for example.

        OSPB50ON -OSPB 50 ON - 150N0039
      3. Technical information- O stands for "open system"
In the neutral position, the oil flows from the "P" connection (pump) to the "R" connection (reservoir)
        - N stands for "non-reaction"
Forces acting on the wheels from outside are not transmitted to the steering system
