        In a hydraulic circuit, the fluid pressurised by the pump creates a hydraulic force that needs to be converted into mechanical energy. This is the function of hydraulic motors. Although there are several types, differentiated by the moving part of the motor, they all operate using the same technique. The pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the motor drives the moving parts inside the motor, which are mechanically connected to a coupling shaft.

        To choose the right hydraulic motor, you need to know that its displacement (speed and torque) will depend on the flow rate and pressure delivered by the pump.
